  • How long have you been with the company? Since October 4, 1993, so this year will be 28 years of service for Heritage Plaza Nursing Center.
  • What does your job entail? Responsible for accounts/receivables, the Trust Fund, Hospice & Private Billing, serving as a backup for the assistant business office manager, establishing lasting relationships with our families, residents, outside vendors and staff. It all makes our facility a home that people want to live in.
  • What do you like most about your job? What I like most about my job/career are the friendships that I have gained over the years with the staff, families and outside vendors. These friendships are genuine and many have lasted well after they have left Heritage Plaza.
  • What is the best career lesson you’ve learned so far? The best career lesson I have learned is that I am just one person and I cannot be everywhere at one time and that is OK; but, if you give me time I will get it done to the best of my ability.
  • What would you do (for a career) if you weren’t doing this? I believe I would like to be a photographer, I love pictures, they are a gift that keeps on giving.
  • What do you like to do when you aren’t working? I love being with my family and friends, time has always been valuable to me but even more so these days. I love movies and sports!
  • What’s a fun fact about you many people may not know? That I love to sing but I am extremely shy about doing that in front of anyone other than my family and friends.
  • Where’s your favorite place in the world? I don’t know that I can say what my favorite place is at this point because I have not been everywhere I want to go, but as of right now I would have to say Seattle, Washington.
  • What is your motto or personal mantra? (1) Thankful and Understand That Every day is a Gift Sent From Above Delivered With Love And Know That You’re Loved by God! (2) I Love You More! (3) I love you to the Moon and Back to Infinity and Beyond Forever and Ever. All of these mean so much to me and came to me at different times in my life to help me be strong and centered.
  • If you could meet anyone in the world, dead or alive, who would it be and why? If I could meet anyone in the world, it would be Michelle Obama, she is an open book that has and still does carry herself with such grace that she just draws people to her.
  • Three words to best describe you: Patient, Loving and Kind!!!!
  • What is the one thing, you can’t live without? The one thing I cannot live without is my families love and support!!!
  • What TV show/movie are you ashamed to admit you love? I don’t believe I have a TV show/movie that I am ashamed to admit I love.
  • If you could have any superpower what would it be? My superpower would be to bless people with anything they were in NEED of without them knowing where or from whom it came from.
  • What is one food that you cannot resist? I have more than one food that I cannot resist, a really good thin pizza and a bacon/avocado cheeseburger.
